It was at this time a local Pastor named Samul Kolaka prayed for him and gradually he was healed. He responded to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and was completely recovered. He learned about our mission work and came to our mission center and underwent training in Chronological storytelling with us. He is passionate about winning souls for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mission Challenges:
From March 2016 Narander is facing constant problems from villagers. Around 20 people from Hindu background come to the worship that is being conducted in his house. The villagers are objecting to the worship service.
They are praying for just 2 cent land where they can construct a simple shed and worship the Lord. We request the church to join in prayer for the believers and for their place for worshiping.

Sila Saber belongs to Sora tribe. He comes from a Christian family. Sila and Sephora are blessed with two sons. When Dhilip their older son was young he suffering from Cerebral Malaria and was almost dying. At this point, Sila surrendered his life to our Lord and desired to serve Him. Sila came to know about our mission through his uncle who called him to join the mission. But Sila was very reluctant to leave his native village, which is about 100 km from the mission field. But on the same night, he had a dream in which he saw a strange group of people he had never seen before. God spoke to him through Eze 37:1,2 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and indeed they were very dry.
Later when he agreed and come to the mission field he saw the very similar group of people, and he knew it is the Lords call.
Mission Challenges:
Sila and His wife Sephora are with the mission since 2002. He with his family, was also along with us when we were hiding for our lives during the Kandhamal Persecution. By evening I was certain we would be trapped. So requested them to escape for fear that they would also be acted. But they never left us. Such was his faithfulness.
He is conducting worship in a village called Sakata in the foothills. All his believers are from the Hindu background. He also conducts house church and prayer meeting in many villages.

He used to steal chicken and indulge in adultery in his village. Pastor Neranjan from a nearby village shared the gospel with him one day. He was touched by the word of God and repented of his sins. He prayed to God and offered himself and found peace in his heart.
Mission Challenges:
He is living and ministering in an area where alcoholism is rampant. The tribal people had to support the Naxalites and get punished by the police for the same. It is a very difficult situation. He is teaching the village children non-formal education and attends to their medical need, as this area is much interior and lacks communication.
Please Pray for his ministry, as it is one of the most challenging mission fields.

He is trained in Chronological stories in our training center.

Arda Kimbaka is working in a fanatic Hindu dominated area. The locals constantly threaten him. Yet he is very faithful in sharing the tracks and sharing the gospel through stories. Please pray for his protection and for his health as he met with an accident and hurt his legs recently.

Never pity the missionaries; envy them. They are where the real action is -where life and death, sin and grace, Heaven and Hell converge.
